We want to leave behind something to be proud of. Therefore, we at Ljungberg Fritzoe take our environmental work very seriously.

When choosing suppliers and partners, we attach great importance to our working environment and its environmental aspects. We work to ensure that as many suppliers and products as possible are PEFC and FSC certified. In cases where the supplier is not certified, we must ensure that the product comes from responsible suppliers and that the product is produced with the least possible environmental impact. We strive for our products to be included in all Swedish environmental databases.

We have a long tradition of delivering board material that we are proud of. We are mindful about our future and will always work to be at the forefront of offering the best products with the environment in focus.

PEFC

PEFC is the world's largest organization for certification of sustainable forestry. Certification of forestry and environmental labeling of forest products is the forest industry's way of telling consumers that they produce products of forest raw materials that come from responsibly used forests. The PEFC label on a wood-based product shows that it is made from raw material that comes from forests that are used according to defined requirements for consideration of natural and cultural environments, social values and forest management. PEFC stands for "Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification" and the organization has members all over the world.

FSC

FSC® stands for "Forest Stewardship Council®" and is an independent, international member organization that works for environmentally adapted, socially responsible and economically viable use of the world's forests. By trading in FSC-labeled products, consumers and companies can be sure that the wood raw material comes from responsible forestry.

EUTR

EUTR is an abbreviation of "European Timber Regulation", which is an EU regulation on timber and timber products (EUTR 995/2010) to combat trade in illegally harvested timber. The regulation began to apply in March 2013 and obliges us importers to work systematically with due diligence system, dds, to prevent products from illegally harvested forests being taken into the market within the EU. This places demands on documentation and traceability.

BASTA

Basta is a scientifically based system with the purpose of phasing out particularly hazardous substances from construction and construction products. By registering our products in Basta's database, we guarantee that the products meet Basta's high demands on chemical content.

Byggvarubedömningen

Byggvarubedömningen (The Building Materials Assessment) (BVB) is a non-profit economic association that assesses and then provides information on sustainability-assessed goods and works to promote product development towards a non-toxic and good built environment. BVB's assessments are based on the chemical content of the products and a number of life-cycle aspects.

SundaHus

SundaHus is an environmental assessment system with the purpose of offering property owners services for conscious choice of materials. The assessments are based on different properties and are divided into five classes: A, B, C +, C and D. The content of the products is documented and assessed on the basis of SundaHus 'assessment criteria based on the suppliers' documentation. SundaHus' assessment criteria are based on the rules of the Swedish Chemicals Agency's KIFS 2005: 7 on classification and labeling, the European Parliament and Council CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, and the Swedish Chemicals Agency's priority guide PRIO.
