EUDR

As of December 30, 2026, the requirements of the EU’s new Deforestation Regulation, EUDR ((EU) 2023/1115), will be implemented. The regulation introduces stronger protection against deforestation and forest degradation, where transparency regarding the origin and production of raw materials forms the basis for developing a so‑called due diligence statement.

For Ljungberg Fritzoe, the EUDR means that we will only sell wood products consisting of timber that cannot in any way be associated with forest degradation or deforestation after December 31, 2020.

Together with our group, our suppliers, FSC® and PEFC, we will work with focus and determination during 2026 to ensure compliance with the new requirements.
